A seven-month-old ill baby died due to ambulance driver

A seven-month-old baby of Howrah, West Bengal died due to the negligence of an ambulance driver. Little baby Neha Malik was suffering from pneumonia. Her family members took her to a hospital in Howrah for treatment but she was referred to a hospital in Kolkata by the doctors.
It is alleged that driver of Tara Ma Ambulance service took off the oxygen mask of the baby when she was travelling to the Calcutta Medical College.
The baby was gasping for breath and her family members were protesting but driver didn’t put the oxygen mask back. After 8-10 minute when baby was rushed to the emergency ward, she was declared dead.
Police have arrested the ambulance driver.
