Cong hopes to secure majority in UP polls under Rahul’s guidance

Rahul Gandhi is campaigning in Uttar Pradesh for a long time to get public support and lots of people gathered during his addressing in the state. Now Congress believes that they will get majority public support in the coming assembly elections. Congress legislature party leader Pramod Tewari told reporters, “The atmosphere in the state is similar to that in 1978- 79 when Congress emerged winner after Emergency, and the party under the guidance of Rahul Gandhi is set to get majority in the coming elections.”
When he was asked if Anna Hazare would have any impact in UP assembly election? Pramod Tiwari remarked that so far Anna factor did not play any role in the Maharashtra local bodies polls. He also said that he respect Anna Hazare but he said his team members Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal are seems to be guided by some other force.
Tiwari said, “It should be seen whether the money being funded to the Trusts headed by them is for the poor or for some other work.”
