A 28-year-old woman wants divorce from her husband because his facebook status was single even two months after their marriage.

She has filed for divorce in a family court because she cannot trust her husband who did not announce their marriage on the social networking site facebook.

Two months ago, they tied the knot. Woman lives in Aurangabad and she has filed a divorce case in Aurangabad court.

During trial in the court her husband said in his defence that he forgot to update his status on the website. Judge has ordered them to get counselling for six months.

“I came to know of the above incident from the magistrate in the Aurangabad court,” Subhash, High Court advocate, said.

“The Hyderabadi husband had told the judge that he was so busy post marriage with family and his furniture business that he really had no time to check his FB or change his status.

“He was willing to do so now or even de-activate his account, however, the woman was not keen to continue with the marriage and she says her husband might be doing things behind her back and she couldn’t trust him,” he said.

This is not the first kind of incident. In the past also few marriages failed because of Facebook.

“Facebook has become the primary method for communicating with friends for many people,” Mark Keenan, managing director of Divorce-Online, said.

“People contact ex-partners and the messages start as innocent, but lead to trouble.

“If someone wants to have an affair or flirt with the opposite sex then it’s the easiest place to do it,” Keenan said.

Face book is really creating problem in good relationship because flirty message posted by spouse is not tolerated by their partner.

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is busy in promoting her latest film Rowdy Rathore which will hit theatres on June 1. While talking to reporters the actress revealed that she liked Vidya Balan’s performance in The Dirty Picture but she is not sure if she too would be able to do such kind of film.

During an interview, Sonakshi said, “I think Vidya Balan is a fantastic actor. She is my favourite. The film has done really well. But I don’t know if I would be able to do such a role. I have certain inhibitions. I don’t think I have the guts that Vidya has. It takes guts to do a film like that.”

A shocking incident occurred in Bhandup area of Mumbai where three men gang raped a 16-year-old hearing and speech disabled girl at knifepoint.

Police informed that the victim is the resident of Jamil Nagar, Bhandup (West). She studies in class VIII. The shocking incident took place with her when she was playing outside her house. Three men — Kallu Sureshchandra Jaiswal alias Shivkumar (23) and two other 16-year-olds are involved in the crime. They forcefully took the girl to one of the accused Jiswal’s house located nearby and raped her one by one. They threatened to kill her.

“When the girl did not return home, her parents started looking for her and hearing her scream, they rushed to Jaiswal’s home,” said an official from the Bhandup police station.

“The accused trio, realising that they were going to be caught, tried to flee the spot, but two of them were caught by the relatives, while one managed to escape,” he added.

Two accused – Jaiswal and one of his 16-year-old accomplice have been taken into police custody. One of the accused who had escaped from the incident place is also caught by the police later on.

One accused Jaiswal used to work in a private firm and his young accomplices were Std IX dropouts.

Senior Inspector Srirang Nadgauda said, “We have charged the accused under Section 376 (rape), 366 (kidnapping or abducting), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) and 34 (common intention) under the Indian Penal Code. Jaiswal has been remanded to police custody till May 21 and the minor accused have been sent to juvenile custody.”

The victim has been sent to Nagpada hospital for a medical examination.

A top BCCI source said, “The IPL Governing Council will discuss the issue. We have asked for the tapes. We will study the tapes and then take a decision.”

News channel India TV showed the sting operation conducted on IPL players and few of the players have confessed on hidden camera that they earn more than shown in auction.

Channel has claimed that not only IPL matches are fixed but the matches played at large scale are also fixed and women plays important role in match-fixing.

When BCCI chief Srinivasan was asked about sting operation, he said, “We will ensure that the integrity of the game is protected. BCCI believes in the integrity of the game. We will take the strictest possible action. We will have to have the tapes and the moment we see it, whoever is the player, we will take very very strict action.”

“If there is any truth in it… It is a fact that we will take strictest action. Even if it means suspending the player immediately. But (that has to be) based on some evidence and fact, for which I have asked the COO of IPL Sundar Raman to request for the tape,” Srinivasan said.

Kings XI Punjab player Shalabh Srivastava, is among one of the players who is shown in the sting operation. He denied the allegation and threatened to take legal action against channel.

“If they are showing all the video clips, why are they not showing that I have demanded Rs 10 lakhs from them. Whatever they are showing…it is not my voice. You know its very easy to doctor anyone’s image and put their names and run it”, Srivatsava said.

“I will definitely file a case against them (the channel)”, he said.

“I had just seven or eight meetings with them, and they introduced themselves as a sports management people. They told me they can help me to shift to some other franchisee where I can be paid better.”

“I am not the only one to meet them, I can tell you they have met at least 50 IPL players. I myself have talked to 15 such players about the issue. They all were doubtful that whether they are from a sports management company or not because they always used to talk about fixing and who is getting how much money,” Srivatsava said.

Other players who are shown in sting operation are Mohnish Mishra of Pune Warriors, T P Sudhindra of Deccan Chargers and Amit Yadav of Kings XI Punjab.

A shocking incident occurred with a heart patient who underwent long heart surgery in Lilalwati Hospital Mumbai. When 34-year-old Savio Freitas gained consciousness after his heart surgery he found that the back of his left knee and ankle had burns.

Savio is the resident of Jaipur, suffered a blackout and he came to Mumbai for an aortic root replacement surgery.

Apart from undergoing heart procedure, he also had to get treatment for burn injuries. He paid extra to treat his injuries gain after heart surgery.

Doctors are saying that these injuries are called ‘pressure sores’ and these are not uncommon in long surgeries.

Savio’s wife Preethi who accompanied him from Jaipur said, “After the surgery, the doctor told me that Savio had suffered from some superficial burns, but was otherwise fine. When Savio gained consciousness and complained that his leg was burning, we still did not know the extent of the burns as his leg was bandaged.”

Preethi spoke to the hospital’s administration about the burns after seeing her husband’s burns while dressing was being changed. She also said that they started treating burns when she spotted it.

“Despite our repeated attempts, we have received confusing replies. While the incident report states that the patient is injured, another report says that the patient has no cautery burns. But the plastic surgeon’s report clearly talks of the full thickness of the eschar (dead tissue) and the peroneal nerve palsy,” said Preeti.

The surgeon who performed surgery on Savio said, ”In a 12-hour surgery, like in Savio’s case, the body has almost no circulation with a reduced temperature. In such cases, pressure sores, akin to bedsores, are possible. The incidence of pressure sores is as high as 10-12% in such surgeries.”

A cardiac surgeon from a different hospital said, “In such surgeries, blood supply reduces, which can cause pressure sores. It cannot be construed as medical negligence.”

Savio works in a multinational IT company in and now he fears that he may not be able to do his job well after these injuries.

Earlier police has arrested a thief named Kishore Deka for stealing over Rs. 21 lakh from an ATM located at Guwahati’s Gorchuk locality. When police caught him, he has Rs. 8 lakh with him but did not reveal information about the rest of the money he had stolen.

When police interrogated Deka about the rest of the money, he confessed that he has hidden Rs.13.29 lakh in a garbage dump behind his house located in Sarthebari area of Barpeta, Assam.

Police recovered the cash worth Rs.13.29 lakh from a garbage dump located behind the house of the thief.

The notes recovered from the thief and garbage dump have been identified and that is the money kept in ATM.
